MSI-s, MSI-sx Modular Safety Interfaces, Category 4
The modular safety interface MSI-s from Leuze lumiflex serves as a link between Type 2, Type 3 or Type 4 optoelectronic protective devices and the machine controls. In addition, the MSI-sx version allows the connection of Emergency Stop command devices or safety switches.

MSI-m, MSI-mx Modular Safety Interface Category 4
The modular safety interface MSI-m from Leuze lumiflex is used to temporarily suppress the safety function of protective devices during the transport of material (Muting). The version MSI-mx allows two protective devices to be muted independently, and it enables safety switches or Emergency Stop command devices to be integrated.

MSI-mxE/Rx, MSI-mxE/Tx Modular Safety Interface Category 4
The modular safety interfaces of the MSI family serve as a link between one or more optoelectronic protective devices and the machine controls.The individual versions offer various safety-related additional functions, such as start/restart interlock, EDM (external device monitoring), test monitoring of type 2 sensors, single/double break control, or muting. All these components are obtainable either with relay outputs or with fail-safe pnp semiconductor outputs. The x versions also allow for the connection of safety switches or emergency STOP buttons of category 4. The E versions are designed for use in operating temperatures up to 60° Celsius

MSI-AC230/-AC115 Power supply units
The power supply units MSI-AC230 and MSI-AC115 are 24-V-power supplies for the MSI family or modular safety interfaces and the sensors attached to them. They are equipped with safe mains seperation and can bridge short-term mains failures of up to 20 ms.
