Safety laser scanner Type 3 with integrated PROFIsafe
The RS4 safety surface scanner is an active opto-electronic protective device or AOPD of type 3 as defined by EN/IEC61496-1 and (pr)EN/IEC61496-3. The PROFIsafe adapter is an accessory to the RS4 which serves for the safe connection of the device to PROFIBUS-DP.
Advantages
Integrated PROFIsafe terminal unit for failsafe communication
Easy project engineering via GSD file
Quick real-time transfer of cyclical data and acyclic DP-V1 services for online diagnostics
Automatic parameter downloading and verification via Proxy FB when equipment is replaced
Laser-assisted 2-dimensional scanning of the immediate vicinity
Infrared interface for initial parameterization and on-site diagnostics
Convenient Windows software with option of graphically specifying protective field contours |

One of the fastest measuring light curtain is prepared for nearly every application. Wether length-, width-, hight measurement, positioning, hole-detection or multidimensional contour scanning, all these applications are no problem for the KONTURflex by Leuze lumiflex. With the convenient Windows User-Software a quick and easy configuration to the actual measurement task can be made. Light axis distances of 5, 10, 20 and 40 mm and housing length up to 3200 mm are available. The control unit QUATTRO allows the connection of up to 4 pairs of optical profiles, does the precalculation of the measurement datas like maximum/ minimum calculation and transfers the data by a MOD-Bus or Profibus DP Interface to the connected control unit e.g. PLC.
Advantages
Control unit QUATTRO-DP with an integrated PROFIBUS DP terminal unit
Easy project engineering and parameterization via GSD file
For measuring lengths, widths and heights, positioning, detecting holes…
Multi-dimensional contour detection, up to 4 light curtains can be connected to one control unit
Quick measurement detection with a scanning rate of 50 µs per light axis
Diverse measurement data functions (maximums, minimums, trajectory function, hole detection, blanking, single beam evaluation) |
