COMPACT safety light curtains and multiple light beam safety devices

Are active optoelectronic protective devices (AOPD) type 4 according to EN 61496-1, -2 and/or IEC 61496-1, -2.

The system consists of a transmitter and a receiver, and is obtainable as a light curtain with 14 mm and 30 mm resolution or as a multiple light beam safety devices with 50 mm and 90 mm resolution. The design may include either two, three or four beams. Its range of functions is flexible and can be extended at will by the use of external interface modules of the MSI series.

 COMPACT EX 1

The well established Compact safety light curtain is now available as the COMPACT EX 1, which is suitable for use in areas where there is risk of explosion either in zone 2 (gas) or zone 21 (dust)

COMPACTlaser - Multiple Light Beam Safety Device with integrated Laser Adjustment Aid

COMPACTlaser Multiple Light Beam Safety Devices are Active Opto-electronic Protective Devices (AODPs) type 4 in accordance with EN/IEC 61496-1 and prEN IEC 61496-2.

Whenever it is a matter of safeguarding machines from all sides, without imposing restrictions on their accessibility, safety light beams combined with deflecting mirror columns are a solution that is at once reliable and economical. Infrared light-beams are used here, to make an invisible protective barrier around the danger zone.

COMPACTplus safety light curtains and multiple light beam safety devices are Active Opto-electronic Protective Devices (AOPDs) of type 4 as defined by EN/IEC 61496-1 and (pr)EN/IEC 61496-2.

The aim of the COMPACTplus range is to live up to any future expectations in terms of top functionality, flexible integration and ease of operation. As an extension of the tried and tested COMPACT range, COMPACTplus incorporates as a bonus a number of additional fully integrated functions, such as for example a startup/restart interlock, electronic device monitoring and blanking. The various interface options that are available make it possible to connect the system at will either to conventional safety components or to safety bus systems.

COMPACTplus multiple light beam safety devices are Active Opto-electronic Protective Devices (AOPDs) of type 4 as defined by EN/IEC 61496-1 and (pr)EN/IEC 61496-2.

Productivity and safety are among the key requirements of automated manufacturing systems. In materials handling technology, safety light barriers with muting functionality ensure the full time protection of personnel, without holding up the passage of materials. A particularly flexible and economic solution is to be seen in the new CPRT-m type 4 multibeam safety light barrier of the COMPACTplus series, which incorporates both muting and override functionality.

All the sensors that are required for distinguishing between persons and materials, as well as the operating and display elements, can be directly connected to the light barrier on site. Various output versions, such as semiconductors, relays or integrated safety bus interfaces, may be selected; these facilitate the optimum integration of the equipment in any kind of control system.

ROBUST 42/43/44 - 2, 3 and 4-beam multiple light beam safety devices Type 4

Are active optoelectronic protective devices type 4 according to EN-/IEC 61496-1, -2. Their enclosure rating of IP 67, admissible temperature range of -25° to +55° C, and integrated lens heating system allow operation in even harsh environmental conditions.

RRT 42 and RRT 44 are 2- and/or 4-beam safety devices with an optical distance of 500 mm and/or 300 mm. Together with a passive or an active deflecting mirror it forms a functional unit. Transmitting and receiving systems are accommodated in a shared profile housing.

RR 43 receiver and RT 43 transmitter are a functional unit with separate transmitter and receiver profile. 3-beam system with an optical distance of 400 mm.

Are active optoelectronic protective devices of type 4 in terms of EN-/IEC 61496 1 and 2. The protection class IP 65, a temperature range of -25° to +55° C and the integrated lens heating system make it possible for the system to operate even under challenging environmental conditions.

The RRT 42.3 MCB-4.1 design variant has built-in M12 sockets for the direct connection of 4 muting sensors, start/restart button and an optional external muting lamp. In connection with the MSI-m or MSI-mx muting safety interface, the functions 4-sensor sequential muting or 4-sensor parallel muting are also available.

ROBUST multiple light beam safety devices are in combination with a test monitoring unit (MSI modular safety interfaces, TNT 35 or TMC 66) active opto-electronic devices (AOPD) type 2 according to EN-/IEC 61496-1, -2. RRT 22.1 and 22.2 are two-beam safety devices with an optical distance of 500 mm with integrated transmitter and receiver system. Together with a passive or an active deflecting mirror it is a functional device. RRT 22.1 has a connection via PG. With RRT 22.2 a muting lamp is integrated.

RRT 24 is a four-beam safety device with an optical distance of 300 mm with integrated transmitter and receiver systems.
